The opening of Fairy Tail 296 showed a man gazing upon Natsu while its tears were running on its face. Jellal, Ultear and Meredy suddenly felt the unknown Magic source on which Jellal began to search this unknown Magic source that they suspected to be Zeref.

Meanwhile, Rogue and Sting were still shocked after what Natsu’s said that he can beat them two all by himself. Rogue didn’t want to fight Natsu because he didn’t have any business with him; he only wanted to fight Gajeel. Sting, immediately activate his Dragon Force as well as Rogue. Sting punched Natsu using his fist but Natsu blocked it using his arm. Sting said that he will use the power that killed Vicelogia but Natsu replied to him that he will use a power to fight for the friends. Natsu punched Sting making him flew away. Rogue used his Shadow Dragon’s Roar but Natsu replied it with his Fire Dragon’s Roar. Rogue’s Roar didn’t get a chance to destroy Natsu’s Roar. Natsu landed his punches to Sting’s body and even Rogue helped him, not of them landed a punch on Natsu.

Sting and Rogue suddenly creates a Unison Raid, Holy Shadow Dragon’s Flash Fang, to destroy Natsu. But Natsu had something; he used his Dragon Slayer Secret Technique, the Exploding Crimson Flame Blade. The crowd was shocked after seeing a very powerful attack that destroyed even the battle arena. Sting and Rogue was down after the attack made by Natsu and declared that Natsu is the winner.

Prediction: The next will be the fight between Erza and Minerva. Minerva has the ability to teleport a thing or even herself. This might be a very great battle. But there is also a chance that the next battle will be Gray versus Rufus which has the magic “Memory-make” that can make an image just like him and could attack his opponents even they’re afar from him.
